When you select Email as a validation process, that means that your user must provide in the login form an Email, also they will receive an OTP that they must provide in order to fully validate the login process.

How the Email Validation work?

We will use Verifik's login as an example, here you will have a better view on what to expect when you select this field.

After the user add their Email and tap the button Send email, immediately the UI change so the user can add the OTP that they receive.

In the provided email, the user will receive a mail from Verifik with the following structure.

When the user provides the correct OTP, they will be redirected to a specific URL that you provide in the project, in this case when you successfully validate your email you will be redirected to the Verifik’s Dashboard.

Here are a few things that you must know:

• The user can request again the OTP every five minutes, also the OTP that were already generated expire in about 15 minutes.
• Only email’s that you previously provide in the project are valid, check the section Allow access to clients to have more information about how to manage the access.
